Leadership &
Training of Cadets
All
steps within the ability of the leadership in Bermuda are taken to train
, Instructors and Cadets to a high standard.
The Sea Cadet Movement takes Cadets and teaches them how to be
fair and responsible leaders.
Cadets learn how to take responsibility
for their actions thus acting as role
models to their peers.
Bermuda
Sea Cadets learn about naval tradition through participating in a
variety of activities on and off the water. Basic training takes place
every Friday evening during the school year. Topics include drill,
sailing, navigation, boat- work, parade, training and First Aid.
Sailing and pulling practices take place on weekends and Friday
evenings during Daylight Savings Time, culminating in an Annual Sailing,
Pulling and Kayaking Regatta.
There
is also an annual Drill Competition.

are encouraged and organised to support community
activities.
Being a responsible and caring citizen is an important aspect of
the
Sea Cadet Movement.
