Leadership & Training of Cadets

All steps within the ability of the leadership in Bermuda are taken to train , Instructors and Cadets to a high standard.  The Sea Cadet Movement takes Cadets and teaches them how to be fair and responsible leaders.
Cadets learn how to take responsibility for their actions thus acting as role
models to their peers.

Bermuda Sea Cadets learn about naval tradition through participating in a variety of activities on and off the water. Basic training takes place every Friday evening during the school year. Topics include drill, sailing, navigation, boat- work, parade, training and First Aid.  Sailing and pulling practices take place on weekends and Friday evenings during Daylight Savings Time, culminating in an Annual Sailing, Pulling and Kayaking Regatta.
There is also an annual Drill Competition.

Cadets are encouraged and organised to support community activities.
Being a responsible and caring citizen is an important aspect of the
Sea Cadet Movement.
